| Library Manager - Deborah

Following my undergraduate degree at the University of Lethbridge, I enrolled in the SAIT Library and Information Technology program upon realizing that a career as prima ballerina with the National Ballet was unlikely to happen for me. My first professional job was in a secondary school in the NWT, followed by positions with oil and gas companies, a law firm, post secondary institutions and finally landing in my dream job of being the head librarian in a small town public library.
I've recently begun my Master's degree in Library and Information Studies at the University of Alberta and hope my time there means better access and service for everyone who uses our library.

Library Assistant - Crystal
|
 |
Libraries have always played a big role in my life starting in elementary school when I volunteered at the school library for Miss Duncan. I guess that you can say that I have dedicated my life to libraries, particularly the Stettler Public Library. It is a good thing that I graduated with a diploma in Library and Information Management from Grant MacEwan Community College.
When I am not found in the Library you can find me at the gym. That is my newest obsession and I love it. If you haven’t tried, you really should. I still love reading but some of my reading time has been taken up by the gym.
Oh, one last thing: Go Oilers Go!

Teen Programmer - Shaun

I have lived in Stettler for majority of my life. I graduated from the awesome school of Wm. E. Hay Composite High School. I plan on going to The Centre for Arts and Technology in the city Kelowna B.C. after high school. I have been working at the library since December 8 2006 right in time for Christmas.
I enjoy playing games like Halo 3 with my buds, and reading spooky books about the paranormal.
