Stettler Public Library Board meetings are open to the public. The SPL Board meets monthly except during July and August. Meetings are generally held on the second Thursday of the month at 5:00 PM in the Recreation Centre Board Room. Dates for 2013 are as follows: January 10, February 14, March 14, April 11, May 9, June 13, September 12, October 10, November 14, December 12. Board decisions are posted within seven days of the public meeting and meeting minutes are posted when they are approved.

Members of the public who wish to give their opinions on matters relating to the library can make presentations, five minutes in length, to the SPL Board. To do so, it is necessary to communicate your request to the Library Board prior to the meeting to have one's name added to the list of speakers before the start of the meeting.
